....the Causeway linking L.Fonadhoo with the Local airport Kadhhoo, was built with Japanese Aid....Japan showing keen interest after The Tsunami & Many JOCV workers wud be seen in Islands as volunteers....the Causeway was breathtaking linking the two islands of L.Fonadhoo with the airport island ...with sea on both sides it was a pleasure driving over it with Little Doel looking for the fishes & a feel of the tarred rd thr , as the entire island of our habitat was unpaved with coral chips as the material ....tht was 12 yrs ago , nd now things hv changed , tarred rds in place nd Capital islands of respective atolls r developed ...the 13 seater plane frm Male' is a regular site hovering over us thr before landing...best transport to see the Indian ocean dotted with Isles .....as it wud fly v low ....frm the Urbane , hustle nd bustle of the National capital region of Delhi , this Castaway posting changed our Lives.....as whn the situation is tough , u really brace up nd get going .....still hv fond memories of the sleepy locale , bustling Health centre , nd pure air to breath .....!!!!
