.......turn of events, lead to unprecedented breakage of tranquil,as reports  pour  in  frm  homeland......not  a Good sign to the  start  of the  festive  season.....Let better sense  prevail....& peace re established.....the  Land  of  Mahabharatha burning....pained  at  the  loss  of  Lives recently  ...  be  it  an  Accident , Natural calamities or  an  Unrest .....for  Life  is  precious  &  "the  grave  is  not  its  Goal"....can  only  Pray.....for  Prayer  has  infinite  powers....

 

 

....Fast track mnth & Festivities round the Corner....

....Sporadic Showers  nd past fortnight is of  incessant  footfalls  @ Clinic....incessant  School  activities  of  Children with  sports  day  for  both  Doel  &  Arnav ....mid  term  exams & with  Festivities  starting  Mnth  end   ....both  Here  &  India  Sept  is  a  Festive  mnth .....it  starts  here  with  the  Hajj day  on 31st  instant  &  Alha  Eid Day  celebrations  in 1st week  Sept. whereas,  Durga Puja in  India;East India & Bangladesh mostly,  as  I  am flooded  with  postings  frm  Chittagong  Durga Puja Commitee of infos  in addition  to  West  Bengal  , Bihar Orissa  & Assam & Tripura postings mostly....though  the  NCR  is  not  far  behind  ....Navaratra  & Dussehra  very  imp  indeed ....!!!....this  will be  followed by  Universal  Deepawali ....all  in  Q ....in  fact , these  festivities  r  just as  if  complementing the  yr  end  Holiday Season  of  the  west.....so  very  important  ....though  as  much  the  texture  of  Celebrations  hv  changed  over  the  yrs  .....yet  these  festivities  serve  still  the  sole  purpose  of  Reunion  of Fmly  & Frnds  ....an imp  agenda  of  re connectivity , brotherhood &  camaraderie & non  stop  fun  for  the  children .....for  us  the Puja  mnth  trip  to  South East Asia will soar  our  spirits , a  welcome brk &  departure  frm  Maldives  Isles  after  a  brisk  8  mnths stint  .....!!!!   

.....Freedom at Midnite.....

...Today  we  celebrate  India's 71st Independence day.....a young Nation must say...finally free frm  the shackles  of  centuries  of  foreign origin domination...bowing  to  the  might  , yet  never subdued...for  the  Might  was  never  Right  here....as the  Republic was  established  ...She  breathed  freely ,  heaving  a sigh  of  relief...end  of  a  patient   wait  .....but was  India  really a captive....?....India was truly  never  a captive  of  any  domination ....India  had  &  has the  strength  of  assimilating  anyone, amalgamating into  one  melting  pot  ....such  is the strength  of  tolerance , acceptance, a  forward movement ....India is  not  one  Caste, Creed  or  Religion ....India  is  Universal...the innate  inbuilt  strength  of  her  philosophy  of  living : an  Universal  phenomenon....thts  why  no  body  cud Conquer  India   in  the  truest  sense....Indian Conquest  is  tht  of Conquering  Her  soul ....Long  Live  My  Motherland  ....Jai Hind....!!!!

......As  per  Drik Panchang  its  the  5244th Birth  anniversary Of  Lord  Krishna  being  celebrated thru  out the Sub Continent  &  world  as Janmastami ......Mythology , Legend, persisting , in the current age of  modernity ......5000 yrs of  civilization ......5000 yrs  of  stories  all witnessed  by  Earth, enacted  on  Earth.....passed on frm generation after  generation....to  us nd our  children......Lord  Krishna's  birth therefore  is the  common  denominator  of  an ethereal experience rt  frm  the days of  our  ancient forefathers  ....passed  on  to  us ......Krishna ....Krishna Radhey....KrishnArjun.....& Srimadbhagvadgeetha.....!!!....the  ultimate  discourse  of Emancipation ......!!!....Glad We  r  soaked in Krishna Consciousness, entrenched  ,  firmly  rooted , drawing  succor  & sap  to  nurture  our  fragile  lives.....the Happiness  is  not of  any  dogma,  belief  or  conviction  .....the  tru  Happiness  is  of an eternal continuance , sharing  a  Legacy, with  the current ,of  an event  witnessed by  our ancient forefathers....epitomized  by  Lord  Krishna's  Birth....!!!

   

....Raksha Bandhan .....

......The  early  morn  call  to  my  Elder Sisters  in Jharkhand ,India ,on account  of "Rakshabandhan  :  Rakhi  Purnima ", set  the  tone  for  this so  very   imp  date  in  the  Hindu calendar , now   celebrated  universally .....the  symbolic  Rakhi  or the  sacred thread  a  sister  wud  tie  on  a  brother's  wrist signifying a  consolidation  of  a bond  so  very  dear .....aft a   couple of  hrs.... the  ph  crackled @Clinic  with  Archana  informing tht how  lucky  I  was, tht an  envelope  from  Sitamarhi  ,  Bihar  with  Rakhi  frm  another  of  my  Didi arrived just  in  the nick  of  time  .......a  very imp  pkt  indeed  as  I  am  used to  this  particular Rakhi  frm  Didi  frm  Bihar , for so  many  long  yrs  now....receiving  it  by  post  across  the  Laccadive  sea  frm  the  Indian heartland  was an amazing  feel  ....rang her  up & sought  her blessings   , wherein  she  confirmed , as to whether  I  had wore  it  or  not  in  the  right wrist  .....the  Eve  Clinic handling  of  patients  with  the  Dazzling Rakhi on my  wrist was  a cynosure  of  all  eyes.....wherein I  explained .....such  is  the   power  of  our festivity .......no  whr  to  be  found  .....!!!!!....In India , relationships  r  time tested  , cemented , Once  &  for  all , to  the  majority......a  soothening  permanence of  a 5000 yrs  of a  suitably  tempered  ecology  ......Long Live  Our  Festivities .......!!!!!

....Missing the Rhythm .....

.........unexpectedly  its  dry  season  now  as  rainfall is  intermittent  & scarce ....the  initial  fortnight  of  heavy Monsoonal showers  in  May was  the  last  we  had  seen  of  a real  rainy  season  ....just  as  the  streets  got  a  face lift  &  reorientation  of  elevation  for  proper  drainage.....the  rains  disappeared..!!! ....as  last  yr  it  was  copious nd  the  streets  flooded, quite  often , after  a  smart  shower,   forcing  the  authorities  to  initiate  remedy  .....but  to  no  avail,   as  the rains are scanty  now &  these  new  elevations &  re design  of a  few  major  streets  r yet  to  be  put  to  test....thr  is  a  miss  in  the  Rhythm  now  of  my footsteps  returning  back  home  as the  embalming  drizzle  after  a  hard  session  at  wrk  place is  conspicuously  missing ....the footsteps..... a  routine  retrace now ,  as  thr    r  no water  body  to step  aside ,  or  a  misstep  on  a  puddle , so  much  so  common  whn  u  hurtle  back  home  .....!!!!...Well its  Nothing we can  do  as  Nature  wud  not  necessarily be  bountiful  as always  ....but  though  as  much  I  wud  love to  be  a  part  of  an  ecology which  is  soothing  permanence  ....!!!...hate  to  think  wht  if  thr  is  no  Rain  ....!!!....wht  will  come  off  thn  of  the  moisturous  sea  breeze  to  inhale....??....wht  will  come  off  thn  of  the  sprightly footsteps in  the  drizzle ??......wht  will  come  off  thn  of  the  cool  droplets falling  flat on  the  face  ....the  instant  redemption  to  positivity....!!!....wht  will  come  off  thn  of  an  Unison  with  the  Elements  of Nature  .....!!!.....as  the  mind  is  clouded , stepping  out  on the  street  , a  dull  drab  routine  now  of  hurtling  back  ,  sans  Rain  ....!!!!!
.......&   Lo .....!!!.....its Started  to  Rain  again ......!!!.......Rain  Gods  duly  Invoked......!!!!

....5th & 15 th August....

....15 th  Aug is  round the  corner  &  5  th  August  is  imminent  .... 15  th  Aug for  my  Country  &  5th  August  for  Late  Father's Death Anniversary  &  Little  Arnav's  Birth  day  ....V  V  imp  dates  indeed.....as I  re  read  &  recited  " Prithivi "  by  Robindronath Thakur....the  Poet's  awestruck  eulogies of  how  strong  Mother  Earth  is and  how  we  bow  before  her  in  obeisance , accepting  her  stoic prowess  of  harbouring  generations  after  generations  .....as  my dear  late  Father  wud  perform  a  superlative  rendition  of " Prithivi" we  were  equally  awe  struck  as  to  his  thoughts nd  forceful  impression  on  our  minds....as  He  departed  on  the   5  th  of August a  void as  expected  was  not  thr  to  be  seen  or  felt  ....as  his  68 yrs  of  life  appeared  a millenium  on  our  self nd  He  is  being  felt  ever  after  as  we  progress  diligently  according  to  the  pathways  led  by  Him  .....as  Little  Arnav  was born  on  5th Aug......GOD  fulfilled  my  coffers yet again of  a child who  boosted  further just in time  the  flagging  spirit  .....I  hv  no  words  to  express  the  inexplicable feelings on this particular Day...Hence we  Rejoice  the  Day  , mark  the  Day  as  a  forte  to  our  Fighting  spirit  ......Long Live.....close to  its heels  will be   15th Aug....India's Independence  Day.....wht  best  is it  to celebrate  the  Day by remembering  our freedom fighters & offering  thm  floral  tribute.....learning frm  their  struggle .....nd learning further  to cherish  the  Liberty  we  hv now , nd  not  fritter it away......!!!!

   

.....The Indian Nation .....

......as  July  ended  ,  heaved  a  sigh  of relief  .....post  Ramadan mnth  of  July : an ISRO  rocket ....!!!!.... as  normal  schedule  got  us  back  to  the   groove....ISRO  the Indian  Flag bearer is the  Jewel  in  the  Indian crown  ....can  say  proudly  Himalayas  to  the North   &  ISRO  to the  South ....!!!!...wht  a  space  Odyssey it  has  been  in  recent  yrs ....speaks  volumes  of  our  capabilities  .....a  tip  of  the  Iceberg ......as India will  whoosh pass  in  the  coming  few  decades  .....the  Young  population on  the  march now.....must  benefit  now  frm  our  Human  Resources......as  I  understand  fulwel wht  it  means  for  tinier  nations   with  Low populace.....not  tht  I  advocate huge  population , but  just  tht   its  time  now  for  us   to  make  the  best  use  of  our      populace ,  in  meaningful  engagement  in  self  growth &  Nation Bldg.... .......the  Modern Indian Nation  has  to  be  Practical  , Pragmatic , Achieving   set  goals with strong  moorings  to  our  rich  Past.....as  west  meets  east  in India....the  time  is  not  far  tht  India   will  be   on  a  high  speed  trajectory of  growth  & Development  .....!!!!......100 yrs  Post  Independence , mark  my  words  .....!!!!
