......The early morn call to my Elder Sisters in Jharkhand ,India ,on account of "Rakshabandhan : Rakhi Purnima ", set the tone for this so very imp date in the Hindu calendar , now celebrated universally .....the symbolic Rakhi or the sacred thread a sister wud tie on a brother's wrist signifying a consolidation of a bond so very dear .....aft a couple of hrs.... the ph crackled @Clinic with Archana informing tht how lucky I was, tht an envelope from Sitamarhi , Bihar with Rakhi frm another of my Didi arrived just in the nick of time .......a very imp pkt indeed as I am used to this particular Rakhi frm Didi frm Bihar , for so many long yrs now....receiving it by post across the Laccadive sea frm the Indian heartland was an amazing feel ....rang her up & sought her blessings , wherein she confirmed , as to whether I had wore it or not in the right wrist .....the Eve Clinic handling of patients with the Dazzling Rakhi on my wrist was a cynosure of all eyes.....wherein I explained .....such is the power of our festivity .......no whr to be found .....!!!!!....In India , relationships r time tested , cemented , Once & for all , to the majority......a soothening permanence of a 5000 yrs of a suitably tempered ecology ......Long Live Our Festivities .......!!!!!
