....the Eastern sea board wears an altogether difft look.....The LonuZiyarai area was the area sporting a free & Fresh spacious look overlooking the Surf....historically also the place is imp as The former Sultans used to Celebrate Eid here nd distribute alms.....Lonu means salt....Ziyarai probably Prayer....the Juggernaut of Development gobbles up everything , more so limited Island space in demand......the place now flattened making way for the CCCC a Chinese Construction Giant responsible for the Land mark bridge which will be ready by 2018.....yes, the Bridge wrk across the Sea linking Capital Island Male' to Hulhule the airport Island ,approx 1.5 Km , has commenced in Rt earnest.....a challenging endeavour on the anvil.....God willing..!!!...Inshallah....!!! wud be able to drive to the Airport & Satellite township of Hulhumale frm Male' in near future......a major project for the region's development......meantime the western seaboard hosts now a newly laid marine drive with a Lagoon which will be the hub of leisurely activities , now tht the Eastern sea board is out of bounds.....its a challenge for Development as Ecology has to be spared & undisturbed.......
