....the Usg of the KUB.for Salim was the last straw....crying inconsolably...as if something malignant has attacked him....last eve grimacing pain now gone but tearful he is whn I confronted him with the reports...15yrs of backbreaking efforts to pull the fmly back home....old parents,wife,children & unmarried sister....the fright of a condition upsets him to no end...not for him but for his dependent fmly....it took lot of convincing tht his condition will not debilitate him if tackled routinely....the construction wrk at homeland is halfway & a groom is al set to be finalised for his sister....& his world crashes for his temporary incapacitation...much to my surprise the Eve clinic foll.up he is cheerful, as the energetic conservative mgmt renders him pain free...the story of his arriving here as an underaged, his struggle nd his success...wanting an assurance frm me to keep it in bay so tht he can finish his task at home...I promised him with ful gusto tht no harm wil come his way....its another example of boosting ur patients moral, however & whtrvr is bad in store for tomorrow...the asymptomatic days ,he will lead a larger life in break neck speed to reach his target nd finally will think of tertiary care....I found his priority playlist placing  fmly first....I am spell bound at the Man's dignity, respectful obedience ,love care & affection....for his kith & kin...in truth really its the people which matters most....its the productive moment tht matters most...come wht may....tru embodiment of the Human Spirit...!!!

....after signing off at 2pm , took an aftnun stroll through thoroughfares ,heading towards Nanu school...to pick him up...the Sun feels warm & gud nd the breeze a welcome change frm the AC environs of the Hospital...relief aft. relinquishing the hot haloed seat, made to feel like a demi God by my trusted patients....constantly providing solutions to peoples ailment....feels gud to wade thru the local bazar....don't like the status of a demi God...b'cos I am not one.....pressurizes u to deliver max. to be able to rise to their expectations....hence the stroll is welcome....the car now nearly discarded..10mrf/lt petrol frm existing 17 also don't excite....the fresh breeze ...the commoner setting of the local Bzr...the wait @ Kangaroo Kids gate(Nanu school),....the rush to be amongst the first to be in frnt of his class ...so as to elicit a thrill of a smile frm him....checking his belongings nd replying to his shooters of Queries nd feelings nd infos.... rolling down the staircases, rubbing shoulders with fellow guardians....nd waiting for him to finish his brief games ...for ultimate dep. for Lunch back home...hitching a taxi ride, for his benefit, of 3 mts duration.....to reunite with the other halves...Pannalal(Doel) & her Ma....!!!!!!

.....Driving down NH8 @ Gurgaon(NCR) I am subjected to a rich spectacle of finely laid infrastructure for the Vibrant Health of the Region....the upcoming huge construction sites....& the adjoining slum dwelling of the workers.....I find a Rajasthani group as wrk force ...their fmlys literally in tatters....in their equally tattered homes....its a summer mnth...the blazing sun without any respite....some of the children & under fives playing in dirt & filth....the sites r temporary nd will be cleared upon completion of construction....the children grow up in this squalor....it is not a Welfare state....I am dead sure... or else why our fellow countrymen should suffer.....tru ,  employment is generated ...but dignity of living lost....probably exploitation....this is not the only site....innumerable....a heavy price for our better to morrow....we hv not been able to manage this unorganised sector....the immigrant labour force also frm my native state Bihar.... a victim of neglect....if a Nation fails to take care of its weaker section its doomed....with the AAM ADMI in the "Delhi Masnad" its time to act on our own...harp & create Public opinion on this glaring issues to impact the adjoining states of  NCR :the living conditions of the Less fortunates....there can't be wht its called a second class citizenship....if India is to shine truly....!!!

.....NCR is close to heart(National Capital Region) & Delhi nd Gurgaon r intertwined....bright stars of the Cosmos....being a Gurgaonite since the Modern city's inception, can't but differentiate its illustrious cousin Delhi.....Delhi is Delhi.....Badshah's Delhi...Luyten's Delhi....Delhi of Commoners...very much a vibrant part & parcel....in this backdrop as its denizens exercised their rights today to elect office bearers to serve thm.....thr is a sigh of relief ...a temporary lull , amidst the settling dust......I am proud of my Country & its Heritage & I am equally proud for her capital....Having interacted & lived for two decades , nd frequent trips in the formative yrs, tnx to my Bapi , who , showed nd took me around  frm  Babar Rd (AIRF Hqs ),whr he used to freqent routinely, frm Bihar, :he being in the wrkn committee,Shankar Mkt, my first brush with Super Bzr(b4 any Malls tht came up in NCR),New Delhi Kalibari, Old Delhi nd its History....fell in love with the city, a small town Boy tht I was....the Courtship continues....as the A320 frm BLR wud land anyday ,homecoming frm Maldives Isles,via BLR....a sense of belonging to the DNA of ur system will soon engulf....as the car wud hit the rd heading south towards Gurgaon, one wud be totally in familiar environs....rt frm the Rs 8 Bus ride to GGN of yesteryrs frm Ajmeri gate.....Delhi & NCR hv burgeoned on growth, needs extra care ...as the peripheral areas nd rural areas astonishingly still v backward.....I wish the future,new incumbent Chief Min. al the luck for steering the destiny of this spirited city, to effect an uniform change in the lives of many.....!!!....Long Live Delhi...!!!!

.....as the Poll pitch in Delhi reaches its crescendo, can't but help laughing at funnier aspect of our polls & polity....its now a win win situation for Delhites, both the aspirants frm the same stable of Anna movement...who has faded to oblivion....the lack of depth of the ruling party in Delhi with no established leader catapults a debutante, who rubbed a shoulder or two with her principal opponent who hitherto was comrade & colleague & who hv as per indications risen like a phoenix frm its ashes of recent Polls....still, must say our polity is far frm organised , the democracy skin deep.....the PM is the new Dictator on board ,whtever be gud, yet his omnipresence , omnicient, omnipotent shadow covers all others however nd whtever qualified one is in the team....the sidlining of stalwarts & experience has robbed the sheen of the cabinet ,prevalent in Vajpai era.....however bad or gud AAP is , must acknowledge tht its not a spent force, as the run up suggest....with two colleagues turned adversary....the situation is win win for the electorate.....both being Ramon Magsaysay winners in their own right....!!!!
