.....finally   USA   lost   its   place   to  TamilNadu ....a roller coaster....The  Great  Tamil  Land  beleagured  by  Floods   ,  Death  of  the   populist  Chief  Min ,  a   furore   over  'Jallikatu'   the   animal  sport  and  all  sorts   of   Court  orders  , tumultous   in  nature ......the  highly   emotionally charged  Land   is in its Churning   point  .....India  is  an  Unique  Nation  of   Diversity ...the  federal nature vibrant .....ISRO does  it  again .....V  proud  indeed .......PSLV  the   War  horse owes a  huge  salute......this  will  be  a  fillip  to aspiring   Engineers  &  more  shud   follow  suit .....India's First  PM was  a  visionary   to Scientific advancements  &  India's Atomic & space  programme  always  a   priority.....Vikram Sara Bhai  Space  centre  ,  Satish  dhawan Space  Centre  ,  Sri hari Kota Launch  pad  ,  BARC  are so  well  entrenched  in our system  since Childhood .....with  BrahMos   going for  an upgrade a  perfect Detente is  a   sound  policy  of the National  security .....a   huge   number   of  US  law  makers  will   come down   frm  Capitol Hill   to  India  in  near  future  to   soak  & imbibe  our  Vibrant  democracy......We  r  a young  Nation &  definitely  we   r  moving  frm strength  to  strength despite maladies  &  fallacies  in  the System .....felt  really  gud  to  see  the  PSLV  lit  up &  zoom  up with  its Historic  Pay  Load ....!!!!

.......how The US of A keep to us as  incessant  breakers,  for the last  couple  of  mnth......now  tht " Patriots" the  book nd   the  Hon'ble current  Prez  Mr Trump inject  new  insights......its gud to  see  opinions &  counter  opinions ......gud to  see people fight  for  their  rights    nd  in  the  same breath  gud  to see the  Prez meaning real business nd  a  fast  track  approach  to his  electoral  promises..gud to see  USA hogging  so  much  limelite  nd its  proven  beyond doubts tht   people  of   the  World look  up to her nd her far reaching  policies .....all  Gr8  Nations  r  born out  of  real time hardships ,  struggle  nd  bloodshed....USA is no exception ......the  very idea  of  sailing across the  huge Atlantic to  settle down  & adopt  &  adapt  to  a New  home far far away  is breathtaking , herculean effort.....the  very idea of groups of people of   various nationalities & as immigrants  & Colonist  establishing a  foothold & taming the Wild is awe inspiring & the  spirit  must  hv  passed  to various   generations....ingrained .....wht  best can  be  gauged   abt   a  Nation  established  by  Immigrants & thr hard  labour.....gud  to see thn the difference  in  opinion , the  opposition , so  so very  much familiar  to their  spirited  constitutions.....no different at all as  were  in  those  halcyon  days  of  opposition   to "Stamp  Act" forced  by  the  British &  its  subsequent  repeal...the  first  gr8    taste  of  success  to  a  roadmap  to  Independence .....its  good  for the Nation  for  a debate on  a variety of current  issues ......US of  A has  always led, frm  the  front ,

sometimes  gud  nd  sometimes  bad  & disastrous nd still remains a  Cynosure of  World opinion for  the  stream  of  Natural  Justice so  ever  has  flowed  thr  frm the herculean  efforts  of  her  forefathers can  never  never ever dry  up ......Truly  Salute  a  Gr8  Nation  ........!!!!  

.....Life & Death frm Close Quarters......

......the  Stage  was  set  after  the  pre  clinical yrs  ....now  was  the  time  for  the ward duties....the  rapt  attention at  the  lectures &  thereafter a  temporary  respite as the  Lecture Theatre is  dismissed , at  the  gong  of  the  Brass Bell....the  newly aquired  Stetho now  well placed  proudly  around  the  Neck  nd  thr  we  step in  to  the  realms of  Reality  of Clinical  Practice....its  a  War  like  situation  with  the  Wards  overflowing .....a strong  wardly  smell...so  very  familiar ....The  Chief  is  awaited  nd  thr  we  go jostling  to  get  a good  bedside  view &  straining  to  hear  whtevr  is  being  discussed .....awe struck  must  say at  the  quantum  of  Knowledge  of  the Chief  , Sr Residents  nd  peers....appeared tht  We  r floating  on  an Ocean  of Knowledge so so  very  difficult  to  sail  upon ......the  Medical ward rounds humbling  you  & a grim  reminder  of shallowness  of  one's  knowledge.....every  faculty  of  the  Self  straining  &  craning  for  a small  space in the  Realms  of  a fathomless  Depth  of  Knowledge......now  realize  in  toto  how  much  it  went  to  shape  our personae  as  service  providers .....awkward  with  the  Clinical  Methods  with Mcleod  & Hutchison as Gita & Bible round  our  Necks , the never to  be  found a  proper " Finding", so   ever  elusive  ....damn  Confusing....!!!....never  liked  the  idea  of  eliciting  anything , as to ,  disturbing  the  Composure  of  the  Patient ....but still  had  to  learn  ....had  to go thru  it ....all  in  your  sole  interest ...later on  societal interest  at  large ......the  Functional  cases were hilarious as exam calendars of SSC & Matric board wud corroborate......& much effort in cracking  the  case  , prior to  the  Chief's arrival   gets  wasted  to  the  point  of  ridicule  , as  he brushes  aside  at  one  clean  sweep  & moves  ahead......a Lady  , supposedly "Aphasia" : unable  to  spk  for  a  week , blurts out as the  Tracheostomy  tubes  & intubation  tubes  r  ordered  by  the  chief.....estrangement was  her  ailment..........hurtling  down  for  Lunch Post  Meridien with  mixed  feeling of  a  feel  of  an  enormity of  the  subject......this  regular  "Compression   & Rarefaction  "  at  the  Medical wards went  a  long  way   to  deal  with patients   in  later  yrs....the  chronically abrasive exposure to  all  sorts  of  subjugation  of  one's shallow  & hollow  intellect  ,came  as  an  Eye  opener........if  your  Baptism  is  by Fire.....let  be it  , as I feel now....nowhere  you  will find  this  Golden Opportunity whr  the  training  makes   u Fit  enough......Good  Enough...... as  I  learnt  later.....The "Hathwa Ward " of  PMCH with  its sprawling  wings was  one  real  testing ground of acquiring  professional  Excellence.....still at  this  time,  far  far  away  shudder  to brk  any  Clinical method & Rule  as  it  will mean  Blasphemy to  the religion  so  acquired thru  "McLeod  " & "Hutchison"......!!!!!....& the  day  will  be  lost.....as I am , & I will  , always  remain  mortgaged  to  tht  haloed corridor  of  learning ......!!!.....as  it  turned  out to be , the  stint at  the Central Casualty with  people  literally  struggling  with  Lives....hardened  my  resolve  of  facing  Death  &  Challenging  it with  so  limited  arsenal......thr  were  people  Lt  & thr  were people  Rt struggling ....& sometimes  I thr sole help  around,  at very  odd  hrs  of   the  nite......the forbearance  &  fortitude  being  stretched  to  a  brk  point........still, We  survived  this  onslaught  of  Life & Death  Stalking the Corridors ......Wht  best  can  to  start  your  Lives  of  a  tender  age  thru  these  stark  grim  realities.......in  tht  we  were  hardened  ,  emboldened  to  meet  any  eventualities   of  Life ....the  properly  trained  Medical  Fraternity  is  a  class  apart  I  feel  whn  it  comes   to  Life's Tough  experiences .....one  of  the  silent  teachings   of  the  environs   going    a long  way  to  establish  the  Service Provider ......!!!!

 

...United We stand ...Divided we Fall...!!!

...thr  is  a  sharp  new  low  now in the Democratic  World....intolerance to  differing  views.....  all  mired in  controversy...the majority versus  the  minority views  &  sometimes  its  wafer  thin....."Majority"  as  a  Tool  of  Democracy,  looks  set  to  be  outdated , resulting  in chronically  voicing  of  Opposition ....In fact We  r  all  tired......reconciliation, honoring  of  Public  Opinion & Time  tested  Institutions need  urgent Resurrection ....the  Old  Order of  Orderliness  has  given  Way  to   a  Newer freedom of  doing  away  of hierarchy, Respect & Wanton trivializing  of  systems ,....Freedom  is quintessential  to  our  survival  with  Elan  ,  but  misrepresenting  

it  can  be Catastrophic....Its  time  Newer tools  of Sustainable Democracy be explored to  encompass  & Unite divided  Societies...!!!

....Rediscovery of the Walled City " DEHLI".....

.....Tht I was shifted to the environs of 'DEHLI' at the turn of the millenium, participating in the witness of Gurgaon to Gurugram in close proximity to the Walled city of 'DEHLI'.....tnx to my visionary parents who brought us here....instrumental in all our developments.....now tht I am parted, faraway,tucked in a pearl of Ocean....The National Library Male' ever nurturing our roots....as The First War of Indian Independence.....1857......with DEHLI as it was called those days the nerve centre of action under the helm of The Last Emperor BahadurShah........Rediscovered the National Capital Region .....every page replete with familiarity...a tremendous treatise nd a must read for the love of DEHLI.....Prof Husain.....A huge Salute...

...Jingling....Clutter of Abandon....!!!!

....resistant  to  change.....nevertheless took  the data plan, as  the  journeyback  late hrs  frm  the  Even. Clinic nd chit chat  with  frnds  & kins  back home seems  to  be  irresistable .....wondered  wht  kept  me  so  long  to  take  the "Data"  on  board  the  Iphone  which  after  full  1 yr  of  widowhood  seen  the  lite  of  the  day.....armed  with  mobile  voip  , whtsapp  , its time  to  wake  up  frnds  back  home  frm  their  cosy  wintery  beds , in as much as  a  call  to  a dear  frnd  to  wish  him   Happy B'Day ......&  finding  him  in  deep  slumber....!!!!....Can't  help ..... as  my  times  r  odd  &  late .....tru  to  the  late  nite  Island  life.....with  Glittering  Coffee shops  buzzing & agog  with  activities of  both  gentry , as  if the  nite  won't  wear off....envy  thm  as  hv  to  dart  back  home  into  a safe  haven  of the  fmly ...though  in slumber  too....!!....hence  hv  to adopt  this hurtling  down  the  street ritual  late  evening at least well connected  with  "Data "....between  11pm  to  12 am  IST ......the  gentle  sea  breeze  , the  diminished  traffic  & sparkling  Coffee :  yes..... not Wine ......

as  its  banned  here in  the  mainland ...allowed only  in  the Resorts  & safari boats .....Sparkling  Coffee   hv held its  sway  tnx to  State  patronage of  banning  hard  liquor....with  jingling & Clutter of  spoons , Cups  , plate  donning  the  late Evening  mantle  of  abandon ....!!!! 

....New yr New Innings....

....the stance already adopted for  the  yr....playing again  before  the  home  crowd  & familiar  pitch....the recent trip energising.....fond memories ....catching up ......trimming  the excess  baggage finally......over  the  Laccadive  Sea  yet  again....!!!....azure , crystal : The Deep  Blu.....smiling  in  abandon ....taking  us  in  her  folds  again ....!!!....into  the  balmy  climes  of  the  Isles ....!!!
